taken from website - Founded in 1961 by the late Mr. George Hadjidemosthenous, Domenica Group began as a building and construction company. In its early years, the Group worked across both public and private sectors, developing villas, residential properties, schools, and infrastructure, while also delivering projects for major institutions such as the Electricity Authority, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Interior.
After the Turkish invasion of 1974, Domenica Group, already a Class “A” construction firm, played a vital role in the reconstruction of Cyprus. The company was entrusted with projects for banks, municipalities, organisations, and ministries, including the Ministry of Defence, an area in which only a select few companies in Cyprus have experience.
